Durga Puja one of the holiest festival for Bengalis is being celebrated all over India. It is celebrated for 10 days and but in some cities is celebrated for less day. Durga Puja is also celebrated in Bangalore with Great Spirit, as there are many big pandal set up in every corner of the city and all the Bengali community including other caste people visit this pandal to worship and take the blessings of goddess Durga.

Durga Puja in Bangalore is carried by Bengali Association and at this time people of Bangalore get in full form. The local Bengali people come together and celebrate Durga Puja. The Puja that is carried by the Association takes place in the RBANMS ground. During this season, Bengali children have a ballet dance. You can also witness Kathak and Odissi dance during this occasion.  There are stalls where you can get Bengali sweets, people throng to this stall to have bite of Bengali sweets.

In Koramangala, the sarathi social groups conduct Durga Puja, every year you can get to watch new performance during the first of the Durga Puja.  Apart from the traditional dance and songs, you can also catch the glimpse of modern rock and dance.

Thousands of people throng to these pandals which are magnificently structured, with large idol of goddess Durga and people visit to get one glimpse of the idol and get the blessings of goddess.

You can also visit Brooke Fields- where Poorva Bangalore Association conducts Durga Puja. Apart from Durga Puja, you can also enjoy the various shows that take place.

All in all, the festive season like Durga Puja in Bangalore have special place and people enjoy this festive mood in full mood. The city really glows up at the time of Durga Puja and all the pandals have long queues of worshippers.
