However, there are only few family who take part in this Puja, but it is fully fun filled as there are some cultural program that are held to entertain the people and also present stage show on Durga Puja. Also there are some sweets serving and people from New Zealand to participate in this occasion, as they like to enjoy the Indian culture and its festival.
The Bengali community in Wellington is growing from time to time and so the number of occasion for Durga Puja has increased. The demand for Durga Puja is increasing as the population of Indian Bengali in New Zealand id growing.
